SUMMARY:Father Kapuan Symposium Returns! Sept. 7th\, 2024
DESCRIPTION:Gerber Institute has partnered with the Father Kapaun Cause for Canonization\, and is excited to announce the return of the Father Kapaun Symposium this fall.  \nFeaturing General Patrick Brady speaking on the significance of the Medal of Honor\, we’ll delve into why it’s exciting that Fr. Kapaun has been awarded this distinction.  \nRafael and Amanda Barbosa are an active military family\, with Rafael serving in the army. They will be sharing their testimony of Fr. Kapaun’s intercession in their lives\, and exploring the topic of “bearing hardship with me.” \nThe Father Kapaun Cause for Canonization will be presenting on where the Vatican is in the process of Father’s canonization\, and what it means that we venerate him as a “servant of God.” \nThe symposium will be held on Saturday\, September 7th\, from 8am to 3pm\, at Newman University. We’ll kick the day off with mass\, and lunch will be provided at noon. \nTickets are $30 and cover lunch and coffee. You can register\, see the full schedule for the day\, and find more information here: frkapaun.org/symposium/
