On the ‘Usefulness’ of A.I. – Its Gift As Mirror and Reminder
Artificial Intelligence has already begun to revolutionize human society. Advocates of the technology proclaim that we are only in the beginning stages of this change, marked out by the many potential uses A.I. promises to afford us. Will this “usefulness” prove to be a boon for human civilization? Join us as we consider what “gifts” A.I. offers to its human creators.

Bonner is the Headmaster of Mother of Good Counsel Preparatory School, Author of “A Very Little Office of Compline” from TAN Press, and Host of the Catholic Morning Show and Co-Host of The UnCommon Good On Iowa Catholic Radio. He is also a PhD student in Catholic Studies with the Maryvale Institute at St. Mary’s University, Twickenham London. A philosopher with an emphasis in theological ethics, a poet, and a professor, he is currently researching the resources of the Catholic Intellectual Tradition, especially Catholic Social Teaching, to resist the technocratic paradigm in the digital age. His working thesis is entitled “Establishing Foundational Principles for Catholic Social Teaching on Digital Technology: Pope Leo XIII, Newman, and McLuhan.
