Care for the Dying

Dr. Donna Ewy will be speaking on care for the dying from a Catholic perspective and seeing Catholic health care as a sharing in the healing ministry of Jesus. Her talk will be on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 from 12:00-1:00pm in the Alumni Center in Dugan Library on the Newman campus.

Dr. Ewy is a graduate of KU Medical School and is licensed in Family Medicine and in Hospice/Palliative Medicine. She has worked in family medicine since 1997 and hospice since 2001. She is currently the medical director at the Catholic Care Center and of Good Shepherd Hospice.

Dr. Ewy is alum of the Newman Masters in Theological Studies program and is currently pursuing a MA in Bioethics from Loyola University Chicago.
