Not like a tame lion: Aslan as a supposal of Christ.

This lecture will take place on Friday, March 1, 2019 following a performance of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. Guest lecturer Mark Hall will lecture on some of his insight in this work and be able to answer questions.

 

Mark R. Hall, Ph.D., is Professor of English and Dean of the College of Arts and Cultural Studies at Oral Roberts University. Along with his studies in English, he has completed three additional master’s degrees in Biblical Literature, Theological and Historical Studies, and Biblical Literature (Advanced Languages). He continues to write articles on Biblical topics as well as C. S. Lewis and the Inklings. He has been one of the editors of two books: C. S. Lewis and the Inklings: Discovering Hidden Truth (2012) and C. S. Lewis and the Inklings: Reflections on Faith, Imagination, and Modern Technology (2015). His article “Glossolalia and Groaning: A Manifestation of God’s Grace” is included in the book The Truth about Grace, edited by Vinson Synan, published in 2018.
