Catholic Anthropology & The Application to Therapeutic Practice

The Gerber Institute for Catholic Studies welcome Fr. Joe Tatro as he presents “Catholic Anthropology & The Application to Therapeutic Practice.”

Fr. Tatro is a diocesan priest who is currently assigned to Catholic Charities of Wichita, Cana Counseling. Fr. Joe received his undergraduate degree from Benedictine College in Atchison, KS, his Masters of Divinity from Mount Saint Mary’s Seminary in Emmitsburg, MD and his M.S. from The Institute for the Psychological Sciences (IPS) in Arlington, VA.  He received his doctoral degree from IPS.  Fr. Joe has been a Catholic priest of the diocese of Wichita since 2000 and has served as an Associate Pastor, Pastor, Associate Vocations Director, Diocesan Master of Ceremonies, and University Chaplain and Director of Campus Ministry.  Fr. Joe is interested in developing strong therapeutic relationships to enhance his work in psychological assessment, couple and family work, and individual work with adults and adolescents.
